Challanges

Hi,
This time again a card inspired by Bev. I saw this a while ago on her blog and I thought maybe I 'll give it a go. And it fits two challanges: at PaperPlay Challanges: Precious Metals (the butterfly) and at Papertake Weekly : New Beginnings (adding my first charm ever).

I had some white flowers and wanted them a little red(cause I didn't have any red), took one of my few Copic's and coloured the edges a little red. I think they look good. I added a little stickles in the centre, as you can see here:

I also added a charm, my first ever! It took me a while to figure it out and I did, so in future I will use charms more often.

Birthday wishes

Hi there,

I hope you all started good this year! The wether is cold, can't remember it being so cold and snowy, bbrrr. I don't want to go out, but who is going to do the shopping? That'll be ME.

Today I want to share this giftbox with you, I made for my SIL. I found some green, shiny paper (A4), I got from a no longer existing store, there is no name on them (so sorry) and an empty transparent box. I used this as a template.


The stamps are Magnolia and WOJ (sentiment) some flowers and Martha Stewart (frond) .
Coloured with watercolourpencils. Cut with Cuttlebug and square Nestabilities.

The card I want to share with you is a birthday card I made for a special lady.

She has two adorable cats and one of them is a red tomcat. I tried to catch the colours of the cat but did a poor job.

If you take a closer look you see that this cat is a little bit angry, as if he was to say:

Penny Black cat!

Hi everyone,

This time I want to show you this cute stamp of Penny Black. I had already seen it on the net, but didn't have the chance to buy it. As I was in Utrecht I saw it again and I thought now it is mine *smile*.

I made my own background with a stamp from a set: Ready to Stamp. It's just one pawprint, I inkted it up with purple from my colourbox. Loved doing that, create your own background I mean.

I did the inside too, but forgot to make a picture, the card has already been sent to another lady who had her birthday.

Pink Magnolia

Hi, here is another post from me. It's been a while since I posted, sorry for that.
This time I wanted to show you a card with an old Magnolia stamp. I made the card a while ago, just for fun. The other day my next door neighbour came to me and asked if I had a nice card for her. Her mother was taken ill into hospital and she wanted a card with flowers. She came across this one and so I had to finish it on the inside.

Here is a peek inside:

The image is from Magnolia series Pink 2008. I coloured her with aquarell pencils by Rembrandt as usual. I can't remember the name of the DP, but they are old, very old. I have a lot of very old DP, I need to make me some cards with them lol. The flowers and ribbon are from stash. The peel off says: Get well (in Dutch of course)

Flowertags with Penny Black

Hi everyone,
My appologies for not posting so long, with good reason though. We were on holiday in Greece. A couple of days after we got back, I got the flu (not the Mexican but the regular *lol*). I still don't feel to good.

About these flowertags nothing much to say, only Penny Black is lovely!

Old Magnolia and Pink Ribbon

Hi there,

Sorry but I am not a regular poster. I just can't make a card every day. For that I need my own craftroom ;)!
This card was made for one of my neighbours, she has breastcancer. In 2003 they dicovered it and she still is going strong! She has had some operations and chemotherapy. Anyway this card was made for her. The pink bracelet can be taken of the card and you can tie it with some knots to your wrist and make a wish. If the bracelet falls of by wearing it, so the story tells us, your wish comes true. I hope, by that time, she's still with us!!!

Champagne bottles

Hi, todays card is made with a free template from (I thought) Create4fun (but I can't find it anywhere, so if it is made by anyone else, please respond and I will correct it!). The bottle was a single one, I needed a double one so I had to alter it. I made it with green Papicolor paper and (the inside) with MME Wild Asparagus DP. First I printed the words on plain white paper, than I cut the labels, which are made with Spellbinder's Nestabilities.



Here is the inside, it is quite simple actually. I made an small envelope (to put in money or anything else you want to give), the flower is placed in the middle of the two bottles, so you can see it both ways.

Christmas card with Magnolia

Hi, I hope you have a nice weekend with beautiful sunshine too.
Finally a card! After 3 blogcandy posts, it was about time too, haha.
I have started to make christmas cards and having fun with them.

The flowers: underneath is a flower, I punched with Martha Stewart and made some snowflakes with my Cuttlebug die, put a brad through the lot and finished it with a green pearl on top of it.

Christmas in July!

I follow Magnolia Challange Down Under ,

and they have a challenge: Christmas in July!

Wonderful idea, as I have already started making my Christmascards.

This is one of them and I hope you like it!

I used:

Cardstock and some shiny DP, 2 Magnolia stamps and coloured them with my aquarell pencils by Rembrandt(Lyra) and a waterbrush. The sentiment I made with gold ink, 2 eyelets (they were white but I inkted them with the same gold ink), some ribbon from my stock (I do have a lot ribbons :) ), a peel off text, it says Happy Holidays in Dutch, a flower.

Japanese Geisha

this card was made for someone special. He loves Japan, has been there twice. I think he wants to live there if he gets the chance :). He is also studying the language, very difficult!!!

But no way he (my son) is going to be so far away from me LOL. I'll tell his girlfriend to stay in the Netherlands ;).

I used a Magnolia stamp from Summer 2007, pink cardstock, some scrappaper, flowers, an eyelet, a tekststamp ( A fine day in Dutch) and a textsticker (in the folded sqare) and some pink glitter. Tilda is colored with watercolourpencils of Lyra (Rembrandt).
