Butterflies, flowers and weddings ....

 Hi sweet blogfollowers!

I hope you all are alright. This week is a happy week, a lot of people are getting married.

Our son and his girlfriend, a niece and her loved one, a relative from a neighbour of my Mum's. She wanted to buy this card, so it's sold.

This card is made at a workshop and I have no clue what so ever about the DP;

it was a ready to make package.

All the things you needed are already in it. The big butterfly and the doily are dies from Marianne Design.

The small butterfly and the blue flowers are punched as wel as the branches.

 The doily is stitched, the coloured flowers are 3D. It's a large card and can stand on his own because of the special cutting. Later this week I will show you the special project I made for my son and DIL to be. Also I will show the card I made for the other couple.

Birthday card in 3D

Hi, welcome to my blog.

This creation was made for the mother of my neighbour. She loves flowers and butterflies. There is no DP involved, I think it doesn't need it! The large pink flower is a die by Marianne Design (LR 0112) along with the green swirls.

The image is in 3D (by Mattie Bruine) also by Marianne D. The pearls are ZvaCreative which I bought at De Creatieve Vlinder.

The butterfly came from a lowbudgetstore( can't remember which one, sorry)
I Stickeled the flowers for some bling

Happy Anniversary, Mom!

Hi there, I hope everyone is ok.

The card I'm showing today is made for my mom.

She turned 80 this year!
I used a Martha Stewart borderpunch: Doily Hearts.

The topflower is made with Joy cutting and embosing dies and the brad in the middle is by Joy! Crafts. The flowers at the bottom of this card are made with Marianne Design Creatables, they are more to the point :) and the leafs are included. The DP is also by Marianne Design: Pretty Paper Bloc: Springtime.

The sentiment says Happy Anniversary and was a gift from Marianne Design.

The 3D image is by Mattie Bruine and Stickles finished it of.

Welcome home

I made this mini card for my neighbours who came home after 4 weeks of holidays in OZ. They left their cat in my care, so I thought this would be nice as a welcome home card.
With a white gellyroll pen (by Sakura) I made faux stitches, and the cat is in 3D.

The front and back are a W. As you can see I have a stamp to personalize my cards:

New home

Hi everyone,
Today's card I made for my son and his girl :). They got the key to their apartment (woohoo!) and will move out as soon as their home is ready.

This is the inside of the card (not their home, lol), the sentiment is Marianne Design. I made the windows with a sheet, some lace as curtain.

Embroider, 3D and some ribbon

a closer look

Hi,

Every once in a while I go outdoors (lol) to get new ideas for making cards. Most of the time I get my ideas from pattern books or from the internet.

And as it is, embroider is also one of my hobby's. I got this pattern when I was following a course in cardmaking. Next time I will show you the other card I made.

I got this pattern from "De Lichtvlinder".

Hi, here's another post from me.
My mom asked me to make a card for her neighbour. She likes flowers, so I thought of this image (joycrafts), I used my oval nesties, the pink designpaper came with the image, the green paper is a small piece of wallpaper(!). I sewed beads on the biggest oval and the butterfly too (beads and butterfly are by Colours Unlimited). I wanted to show the inside too, but the pc is sooooo veeeeerrrryyyyy slow.
I put the card in the mail yesterday and this morning it fell on my mom's doormat, wow that was a quick postman, lol.

Japanese Geisha

Hi everyone,

this card was made for someone special. He loves Japan, has been there twice. I think he wants to live there if he gets the chance :). He is also studying the language, very difficult!!!

But no way he (my son) is going to be so far away from me LOL. I'll tell his girlfriend to stay in the Netherlands ;).
