Inspired by Bev

Hi everyone,

The other day I was surfing on the net and I saw this incredible beautiful card at Bev's and I thought: This one doesn't seem too hard to make.

So, this is what I came up with:

The fur is "coloured" with a Spica clear pen, the snowflakepunches are covered with Stickles and pierced with a brad.
It took me longer than I thought it would, but now that it's finished, it is worth it!

I want to thank Bev for her inspiration.

Cuttlebug: die oval & round and

embossingfolder snowflakes.

Flowertags with Penny Black

Hi everyone,
My appologies for not posting so long, with good reason though. We were on holiday in Greece. A couple of days after we got back, I got the flu (not the Mexican but the regular *lol*). I still don't feel to good.

About these flowertags nothing much to say, only Penny Black is lovely!

Champagne bottles

Hi, todays card is made with a free template from (I thought) Create4fun (but I can't find it anywhere, so if it is made by anyone else, please respond and I will correct it!). The bottle was a single one, I needed a double one so I had to alter it. I made it with green Papicolor paper and (the inside) with MME Wild Asparagus DP. First I printed the words on plain white paper, than I cut the labels, which are made with Spellbinder's Nestabilities.



Here is the inside, it is quite simple actually. I made an small envelope (to put in money or anything else you want to give), the flower is placed in the middle of the two bottles, so you can see it both ways.

Christmas card with Magnolia

Hi, I hope you have a nice weekend with beautiful sunshine too.
Finally a card! After 3 blogcandy posts, it was about time too, haha.
I have started to make christmas cards and having fun with them.

The flowers: underneath is a flower, I punched with Martha Stewart and made some snowflakes with my Cuttlebug die, put a brad through the lot and finished it with a green pearl on top of it.

Christmas in July!

Hi,

I follow Magnolia Challange Down Under ,

and they have a challenge: Christmas in July!

Wonderful idea, as I have already started making my Christmascards.

This is one of them and I hope you like it!

I used:

Cardstock and some shiny DP, 2 Magnolia stamps and coloured them with my aquarell pencils by Rembrandt(Lyra) and a waterbrush. The sentiment I made with gold ink, 2 eyelets (they were white but I inkted them with the same gold ink), some ribbon from my stock (I do have a lot ribbons :) ), a peel off text, it says Happy Holidays in Dutch, a flower.

Embroider, 3D and some ribbon

Hi,

Every once in a while I go outdoors (lol) to get new ideas for making cards. Most of the time I get my ideas from pattern books or from the internet.

And as it is, embroider is also one of my hobby's. I got this pattern when I was following a course in cardmaking. Next time I will show you the other card I made.

I got this pattern from "De Lichtvlinder".

the beads are from my stock and so is the cardstock.

50 years!!

Hello everyone.

This time I made a card for someone special (aren't they all lol). This lovely girl turned 50 years of age.

This card is very simpel to do. The glittery stripes are made with doublesided tape and glitter ofcourse... The text says Happy Birthday in Dutch. I took some doublesided aslan, placed the peel of flower on it and cut it out, then I glittered the inside of the flower too. The whole table and I where glittery, but this looks really nice and chic!

The cardstock is shimmery and the DP came from my stock.

I enjoyed making this one!!

Dachshund

Hi everyone!
After a long, long time, another post from me. It took a while because our camera broke down. (Still is!!) Our daughter is so kind to lent me hers, so now I can take pictures again, yippee.

This dachshund is specifically made for one of our neighbours. They own a dachshund by the name of Tess. She is an adorable little one, and I love her! Always friendly towards everybody.

I used:

• cardstock: very dark brown, designpaper is from My Mind's Eye(wild asparagus), colourcore Chocolate
• stamps: Ollyfant summer
• nestabilities: octagons
• punches flowers and branches, watercolourpencils, brads and some lace from my stock.

Magnolia Down Under challenge

Hi everyone,

I made this card a while ago. This week my dear husband is celebrating his birthday and I think this will fit perfectly. This will also fit in the challenge of the Magnolia Down Under challenge, which is: all about a boy.

The designpaper is from Karen-Marie Klip, Edwin is coloured with watercolourpencils, the button is also from Karen-Marie Klip.

Black and white male card

Hello everybody,
As you can see I changed my blog layout, I just love it. It is designed by Ingrid at Cute Bloglayouts .
On to my card: this is a very simple but nice male card. Most of the men I know, do not care what kind of card they get.
I used black and white cardstock. The peel off's are placed on design paper (Assorted Papers) by Jalekro , cut out and put on in 3D on the card. The sentiment says: Happy Birthday in Dutch.

Dragon card

Hallo,

Dit is een stickerkaart ingekleurd met Glaze pennen van Sakura. De glazepennen zorgen ervoor dat de afbeelding gaat glanzen. De draak is ( en ook de lantaarn) met wat foamblokjes van 1 mm opgeplakt, zodat hij iets meer effect krijgt. Het kaartkarton is zwart, maar helaas komt dat niet uit op de foto.

Ik hoop dat jullie deze kaart leuk vinden!

Hello,

This is a peel-off-card colored with Glaze pens of Sakura. The ink in the pens is glossy, so the whole image is shiny. I cut the dragon and the lantern and placed them with foampieces (1 mm thick)on the card, so the image gets a bit more effect. The cardstock is black, but that doesn't show on the photo unfortunately :(.

I used a Magnolia stamp from Summer 2007, pink cardstock, some scrappaper, flowers, an eyelet, a tekststamp ( A fine day in Dutch) and a textsticker (in the folded sqare) and some pink glitter. Tilda is colored with watercolourpencils of Lyra (Rembrandt).
