Male vintage card and a challenge

Hi all!
Today I want to show you a card I made for an 80 year old man.
As I struggle to make a male card (who doesn't!), I found myself making a vintage card
and it turned quite nice if  I may say so :D.
Not too much frills, no lace, just paper (paperbloc Sweet Romance from Marianne Design)
The image is from Studio Light and search for Romantic Pictures.
The flower, leave and fern are dies by Marinanne Design,
the doily behind the image is Cheery Lynn Designs
the French Pastry doily. The small tag is a Spellbinders Nestability.
Almost forgot: the punch is a Martha Stewart.
This card is going for the challenges at:
Crafter's Companion Monthly challenge blog which is:
One for the boys
A big HUG and thank you for swinging by!

Challenge at KennyK

Todays card is made with a freebie from KennyK's downloads I got a while back. It can't be purchased so it's kind of a rare one! And I am lucky to have it :). She is called Anime Girl. I coloured her with my watercolourpencils.

A close up:

I used Japanese papers Fold'ems origamipaper, gorgeous papers to work with. The paper has a soft touch and the package has several designs.
The leaves are a die from Marianne Design.
The butterfly is a punch by Martha Stewart, some rhinestones and a piece of ribbon

As I don't know yet whom this card is for, I left the sentiment out.
I enter this card for the challenge at KennyK's Krafty Girlz which is
Pretty in pink.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

If you leave me a comment I will come and visit your blog.

Miss Thang - KennyK challenge

Hello again!
I came across this paper and thought: why not?
The guipure lace I ordered at Wild Orchid Crafts, the flowers are a die by Joy!Crafts
The image is KennyK's , don't you just love them all? Can't wait to see all the new ones!
I coloured her with my watercolourpencils. The ticket is made with a Tim Holz die. The sentiment is one of Whiff of joy, I think it was from the set 1001 nights. The swirl is Marianne Design.
This card is going to be in the challenge of this week at KennyK's,
which is TAG IT.
Thank you for stopping by,

Simon Says Girly

Today's card is for my daughter's birthday, 23 years of age. I asked her if she mind to get one in mainly pink. She didn't mind, but I know it is not her favorite colour. So when that was said, I could go to work.

The flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts, the big white tearose is stickled at the edges with babypink, so it looks a little pink. Under the closed rosebuds is a metal flower, to brighten them up a little bit, bought them at De Creatieve Vlinder as well as the heartcharm.

Just wanted you to see the image a little closer :),
so you can see the stickels I put at the bow of her hat:

Here is a peek at the inside:

I am also entering this card for the Simons Says Stamp Challenge this week:
Mother's Day/ Girly
Is this girly or what?

DP: Best Creation Inc. - Once upon a dream
and Bazzil Basics (both from De Creatieve Vlinder)
Sentiment: Marianne Design
Rhinestones, ribbon and Stickles
Cuttlebug: Love die (hugs & kisses)
Coloured: watercolourpencils, my fav.
Thank you for stopping by!

Dustin, Delia and a Challange

Hi everyone!
Today I want to share a card I made for a special little lady: Delia.
Two weeks ago I saw a call for a card at Dustin Pike's blog. If you would like to join in, you can read all about it on Dustin Pike's site.
Yesterday my card was finished and I've put it in the mailbox. I wonder how long it will be on its way ... ah well, we'll see.
So here it is:

Here is a close-up of the owl, which is so beautifully drawn and given for free by Dustin. Thank you Dustin, you are an artist with a great heart!

I also entered the challenge of: Just Christmas and Birthday Cards by using the sketch, rotated.

recipe:
Image freebee by Dustin Pike
DP: Pretty Papers Bloc- Spring time by Marianne Design
The sentiment is created by me and my computer, lol
Flowers are made with Joy! Craft
coloured with watercolourpencils and a white gellyroll by Sakura.

I hope you enjoyed your stay at my little space. Great weekend to you all!

Challanges

Hi,
This time again a card inspired by Bev. I saw this a while ago on her blog and I thought maybe I 'll give it a go. And it fits two challanges: at PaperPlay Challanges: Precious Metals (the butterfly) and at Papertake Weekly : New Beginnings (adding my first charm ever).

I had some white flowers and wanted them a little red(cause I didn't have any red), took one of my few Copic's and coloured the edges a little red. I think they look good. I added a little stickles in the centre, as you can see here:

I also added a charm, my first ever! It took me a while to figure it out and I did, so in future I will use charms more often.

Here is a closer look at Willow:

DP: Doodlebug design inc.
Stamp: WOJ
Punch: Martha Stewart, edge and frond
Charm came from Cute Stamps and Cards
Ribbon, flowers and adhesive stone from my stash.

I hope you enjoyed your stay at my blog and are willing to leave me a comment!
