Music maestro!

Hi everyone in the land of blog! It's been a while since I posted anything.
The card I'm showing today couldn't go life until today. The birthday girl is a blogwatcher.
Hereby I want to congratulate her on her birthday again,
*wink wink* you know who you are *smile*.
The dies are all Marianne Design, the DP is from a paperpad also
from Marianne called La Musique, one of the 6 inch blocs.
The flower is from Petaloo, Chantilly Collection. Lovely coloured flowers with sparkles on the petals. And some flatback pearls in green and off white from my stash.
The sentiment says: Congratulations on your birthday.
Did you notice the saxophone on the design paper? Well this birthday girl happens to play the saxophone and I know she likes green, so I had no choice but to create a green music card!

And this is to show it's an easelcard.
I hope you like what you see and let me know. Thank you!

In Memoriam

Hi everyone.

Sometimes we have to make a card we really don't want to make. This one I made for the next of kin of our neighbour.

The rose came from a 3D sheet, the DP is papicolor and the pearls are bought at WOC

The doilie is bought at Cheery Lynn Designs .

No pic of the inside, all the names are in there and there is no need to put them on the web.

Thank you for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment.

Wishing you a magical birthday

Hi everyone!
First of all I want to thank you for all your sweet comments on my last post.

Todays card is for my daughter, who just turned 24.
Happy Birthday sweetie!

The image is from the internet, I can't remember where I found it. If it's yours claim it, I will give you credit here.

A close-up:

The DP came from a lowbudget store (for the Dutch: Action)
The sentiment is LOTV, all papers are distressed with Distress ink: Wallnut Stain.

Lace and pearls came from my stash. The image was cut with a die by Marianne Design, the swirl is also Marianne.

Thank you for stopping by!

Birthday card in 3D

Hi, welcome to my blog.

This creation was made for the mother of my neighbour. She loves flowers and butterflies. There is no DP involved, I think it doesn't need it! The large pink flower is a die by Marianne Design (LR 0112) along with the green swirls.

A closer look:

The image is in 3D (by Mattie Bruine) also by Marianne D. The pearls are ZvaCreative which I bought at De Creatieve Vlinder.

The butterfly came from a lowbudgetstore( can't remember which one, sorry)
I Stickeled the flowers for some bling

And here is a peek inside: the sentiment is also by Marianne D.

Thanks for stopping by,

What part of: Cats don't like water, didn't you understand?

Hi, after a long, very long time a post from me. As you know we have 2 cats, one of them is a real fat one 9,6kg! In the last 5 weeks or so, he wouldn't eat nor drink. So he lost al lot of weight, about 2,4kg. Even the vet (been there about 5 times!!!)didn't know what the reason of this weightloss was. A bloodtest was in place: his liver is not doing to well, not alarming but he had a little more attention from me more than usual, lol.
So on to todays card, hope you like it!

The image is from Design House Papercraft: C'attitude. The DP Little Yellow Bicycle and G.C.D.Studios. The sentiment is by Marianne Design.
Hope you can see the sparkles on the wet cat, sparkles made by an Atyou Spica Clearpen.

The border is made with a punch by Martha Stewart,
a bow, pearls and some buttons finished it.

Thanks for stopping by! Hopefully my cat is feeling better in a few days.
