Christmas cat

Hi to you all,

I hope you all had a wonderful beginning of the new year. As it was kind of late (04.00am), we slept in till 0.30 in the afternoon!

I'd like to share this card with you.

The stamp is by Marianne Design and the sentiment is Penny Black. Sorry, I couldn't see anymore where the DP came from (all choped to pieces, lol), used my Cuttlebugfolder snowflakes and Nestabilities, stickels crystal. I used my watercolourpencils to colour the image, and last but not least ribbon.

I hope you all have a beautiful week, with lots of snow and Christmas presents *smile*.

The card I want to share with you is a birthday card I made for a special lady.

She has two adorable cats and one of them is a red tomcat. I tried to catch the colours of the cat but did a poor job.

If you take a closer look you see that this cat is a little bit angry, as if he was to say:

This is my box, don't you dare touch it, or else...

Last Christmas card/cat

Hi,

Finaly an other post. I've been blogging and hopping around, peww that takes a lot of time. I didn't post to everyone, but I saw a lot of creations.

Here is a creation by me, most likely the last of the Christmas cards this year:

The paper is Basic Grey: Eskimo Kisses, the stamps are by Penny Black, some ribbon, the spica clear pen by AtYou.

A closer look at the cat:

This time I used odourless white spirit, instead of my waterbrush. I think it looks better, don't you? The blending is better controlable this way. A whole new kind of colouring for me, never too old to learn new things, lol.



Here is a close-up at the snowflake:

To create this flake I used punches by: Martha Stewart, EK succes, a smaller snowflake punch with no name(sorry) and a Cuttlebug flake, put them all together, some crystal Stickles on, and voila.

Hi ladies (and gents),

I hope you had a wonderful week! I know I did. I got to buy Christmaspresents, love spending money, don't you?

I cut the image from a 3D imagesheet, used my Nestabilities, embossingfolder and some ink.

A close up. I hope you can see the gold ink I used for the edges of the card as well as the snowflake:
The DP is My little yellow bicycle (I think it's very old),

the ribbon came out of my stock, the sentiment is from a set by Studio G, the snowflake is made by using a Martha Stewart punch and a die that came with the Cuttlebug. I added some very tiny shinestones. The image is a Vintage Christmas cuttingsheet by Marianne Design.

Despite this card is not a stamped one, I still hope you like it.

Boys and toys

Hi everyone,

Here is a baby boy card and, as you can see, it is going to be a boy! Nowadays, parents know in advance what the gender of their unborn baby is (if they want to know) , before it is born.

No surprices anymore!

In my time there was no such thing, than again I didn't want to know.

Back to the card:

I made my own background! Loved that little car.

Here a peek on the inside:

I used my Nestabilities to cut out a stamp from Eline's Toddlers (Marianne Design) and it comes with the two little stamps, the car and the building blocks, watercolourpencils to colour it. Darkblue ribbon and a brad in each corner. The inside is stamped also with a Marianne design stamp and the little car was used for the background.

Sketch Saturday

Hello,

Hope you have a wonderful day, today.Yesterday I learned that a friend of mine delivered a newborn into this world.

So I had to make a babycard for a girl.

Just love doing that, all that pink, yammie!

I saw this at Sketch Saturday and this is what I came up with.

I used a pretty stamp of Marianne Design: Eline's Toddler and the sentiments inside the card are also made by Marianne Design, the DP came from a lowbudget store (Wibra, in the Netherlands), I used my Nestabilities label 4, can you tell I just love this label? LOL. I used my watercolourpencils for some colour.
