Sewing box
Hi! I hope you all have had nice presents from Mr. Santa. We all had our share of lovely gifts!
Today I want to show you this sewing box I made for my daughter-in-law. She makes such gorgeous embroideries and when I saw this tutorial I knew what I had to make for her birthday :D
This is one side:
This is the other side: The small pair of scissors is a die from Marianne Design.
All boxes can be opened so you can put presents in:
In the above pictures you can see I didn't finish both tops! I completely forgot to photograph them, so at Christmas we had our dinner in their home and I took the pics.
The tiny butterflies are from Cheery Lynne Designs, the sentiment is Marianne Design, a brown tag, some lace and beautiful chrystals from Prima Marketing Inc. The DP is from Jack n' Jill Collection "Ode to Joy" (Prima Marketing aswell)
This is the other side:
Thank you for dropping by and it is always nice to read comments.
HUGS!

Let it snow
And here is an other Christmas card. Made with a Marianne Design designable ( DS0914). DP is Marianne design, what else?
The card is a little bigger as usual and had to be send in a huge envelop. It's on his way to Down Under.

It's Christmas time ....
Hi there!
Thanks for the nice comments you've left me.
And thanks for being so patient. I've been neglecting my blog in order to get my cards done. I finally managed to bring them to a mailbox today.
This is one of those cards:
Here is a close up:
This is the inside:
Most of the materials I used are by Marianne Design.
If you have any questions about this card please let me know and I'll try to answer them.

Short vacation
Today I have no card to show you but I do have some pictures we took while on holiday.
We took a short trip to Egypt, cruising on the Nile.
Beneith is Queen Hatshepsut. Take a look at her ears they are from a cow:
This statue is Horus, the falcon:
A trip to the Nubian people: the mayor of the Nubians had these crocodiles at home:
My hubby at Abu Simbel:
I enjoyed my vacation and I am going to do my best to put some cards up here soon!
Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs
