A warm welcome to my new blog followers! I also would like to thank everyone who left me a comment on my previvious post(s). Lovely to see you like my creations :).

I was in a romantic mood when I made this one. Can you tell? All pink and roses.

The Design Paper is a pad called: Pale Pastels by Eline's winter huis. The gorgeous sentiment is also by her hand. The lovely flowers and pearls are from WOC. The lattice corner is a new die by Marianne Design. The leaves are a die also by Marianne D.

On your Birthday

Yes, I am still alive :)! Sorry I didn't post earlier, maybe it is not an excuse but last Friday was my birthday and you know how busy things can be... As I was born on the 13th every once in a while it happens that my birthday is on a Friday. But that doesn't have any effect on me because I was born on a Sunday, how lucky is that?

I made a card for my Aunt. The little girl is in fact my Aunt! Many years ago *smile*.

The doily, branches and butterflies are dies from Cheery Lynn Designs. The butterfly embossingfolder is from Craft concepts.The brown cardstock is an old Color Core pad named The Chocolate box. After embossing I sanded the butterflies. Flowers and pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the lace was bought on a market.

Hi! I hope you all have had nice presents from Mr. Santa. We all had our share of lovely gifts!

Today I want to show you this sewing box I made for my daughter-in-law. She makes such gorgeous embroideries and when I saw this tutorial I knew what I had to make for her birthday :D

In the above pictures you can see I didn't finish both tops! I completely forgot to photograph them, so at Christmas we had our dinner in their home and I took the pics.

The tiny butterflies are from Cheery Lynne Designs, the sentiment is Marianne Design, a brown tag, some lace and beautiful chrystals from Prima Marketing Inc. The DP is from Jack n' Jill Collection "Ode to Joy" (Prima Marketing aswell)

We took a short trip to Egypt, cruising on the Nile.

Congratulations in a book

This time I want to show you a project I made. I found the tutorial here, it's very easy to follow,

you should try it some time!!

The DP is from a pretty paper bloc called: Eline's winterhuis Pale pastels and can be found here. The image I found on internet and was cut with Nestabilities. All other dies are Marianne Design, roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the lace was bought at a marketplace, I don't know where the Cristal sticker butterfly is from but the package says

Mark Richards USA, I hope that was helpfull.

For the inside I used an embossingfolder from ProCraft. The tag and sentiment are also by Marianne Design.
The sentiment says: Congratulations in Dutch.

And here my book is closed with ribbon also from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Happy Birthday, male card

Hi there,

This time a year there are a lot of males who celebrate their birthday. So this time I've made a male easel card using a freebie from Digital two for Tuesday. This man used to be a farmer so I thought this would be great for him. I didn't colour the image, I thought it could do without. The DP has been waiting for this image for a very long time, I don't know the brand, sorry.

I used dies from Marianne Design, the green and black ones. The butterfly is Cheery Lynn Design.

Happy Birthday Dragon

Yippee, my Mom is out of the hospital!! Finally after 9 weeks, she is now in rehab hospital and she is doing fine :D. I finally got some time for crafting woohoo!!

The card I'm showing is made for our son. As he likes Japan so much I thought he might like a dragon. I had some fabric (I bought it ages ago)with the image which I put on doublesided glue foil and cut the image. After that I just put it on the card which is black and some gold paper on top and black again on the gold paper. I made the eyes pop with some gold coloured rhinestones.

Quit simple actually, but perfect for men.

As you can see the colour black isn't black on every picture!! It was hard to capture the colour.

And a peek on the inside: this time the colour gold is more like the real colour!

The branch is a Marianne Design die and the sentiment was stamped with Versamark and covered with gold embossing powder, than heated with my heating tool.

An other 80 year old ... and a challenge

Hello there!

Thank you all for being so patient with me. My Mom is still in hospital, so I'm still running to and fro....but I found some time here and I thought it would be nice to show you this card.

This card is specially made for a lady who turned 80years old or is it young? I used a photograph of her which was made many years ago. Printed in sepia and then cut into shape.

I used Cheery Lynn Designs doilies: Waltzing Matilda, Kiwi and the Exotic Butterfly mini. The lovely flowers I won at Dunja's cards und More the other day! Thanks again Dunja!

The DP is Marianne Design bloc and is called: Old-Fasioned Nursery.

This DP is appropriate because she used to be a seamstress.

Someone is stealing from Mo Manning/ Oproep om actie!

Hi all! I've been asked to post this specially for the Dutch bloggers, but for those who don't know yet the following is happening (this is directly copied from Mo's FB page):

So you guys . . . I have been having some serious trouble with theft again. I'm sure it's not you guys -- my "regulars" but lots of worrying stuff has been happening. I'm finding my images sold on CDs (along with Magnolia and other companies) and on iOffer.com, and via email swaps and on even in facebook galleries!! (Anyone recognize this gallery?)

Maybe it's just that several things popped up at the same time, but this is seriously discouraging. I've spent the past two days trying to get Marktplaats to take down a CD with my images that is being sold there -- they keep running me in circles (plus I don't speak Dutch, lol.) I had to spend money on a monthly fax service today just so I can fax official complaints to the Netherlands.

Anyway, I'm calling on your help to PLEASE stop this wherever you see it. Email me right away -- with names (I will keep you anonymous) if you know who is stealing ANY stamp art. Because seriously, I can not keep my prices so low if my work is being stolen and passed around freely -- and I can't keep drawing if I'm spending all my time tracking down the crafters who are:

A. Stealing my work

B. Receiving my stolen work.

Every time ONE of my images is stolen, it is passed to who knows how many others who then pass it off to their friends and it just keeps multiplying. This will KILL stamp companies.

Please, stealing a piece of art from an artist is no different from someone stealing from you.

Hallo allemaal, via Facebook is de vraag gerezen of we dit met z'n allen kunnen tegenhouden en bij dit bedoel ik: Op Marktplaats.nl is iemand die de digitale stempels van Mo Manning verkoopt zonder dat zij daar een cent van ziet! Dat is niet zoals het hoort en Mo heeft gevraagd om zoveel mogelijk mensen in te schakelen om die persoon zijn of haar handeltje te stoppen. Mo heeft al een klacht ingediend maar Marktplaats doet ietwat moeilijk. Marktplaats heeft ook een Facebook account en misschien kunnen we met z'n allen een berichtje plaatsen zodat die oplichter/ster geen cd-tjes meer kan verkopen. Misschien helpt het als we het met z'n allen doen.Net zelf geprobeerd maar wij kunnen alleen reageren op iets wat Marktplaats zelf erop zet en zelf geen nieuw bericht aanmaken. Wel jammer!!
Als jullie nog andere ideeën hebben hoor ik dat graag!

Today no card, just to inform you that my Mom is still in hospital. This is her 5th week!! But there is some good news. Next Wednesday they are going to operate on her again and this time is the last one, we all hope including the doctors!! After that she can go forth. Learn how to walk again and live in her own home .... One step at a time I know, but I'm happy for her!

This card I made for my mother who is in hospital for over 2 weeks now.

Hopefully she can walk again soon (her hip was broken).

The sweet image is from WOJ and is called: Henry with broken leg.

The lovely die is also Marianne Design. The octagon is a Nestabilitie.

The sentiment came with the stamp and I cut it with a Joy! Crafts die.

Christmas in blue and green

I hope you are all safe and sound :).

Todays card is (again) a Christmas card. This time I used a die-cut sheet and made the image in 3D.

The DP is a Pretty Paper Bloc from Marianne Design and is called Merry Christmas.

I used Nesties under the image.

The branche is a punch from McGill. The small pointsettias are Marianne Design.

The borderpunch is one of Martha Stewarts great designs.
Inside the sentiment says: Happy Holidays.

As my Mom is still in hospital I will not be posting a lot for I'm driving every other day to her. It takes me 45 min. to get there so my days are filled with driving... but she's my Mom :) and I love her.

Hi there! Sorry I have neglected my blog for this long! Time flies, I have had some serious family matters to attend. Mom in hospital with a broken hip, operation and all that kind of things, lots of things to sort out. But she fine now!

This Christmas card is made with love :), pretty easy to make and not to heavy for postage!

The DP is Marianne Design, the dies (flower and swirl) too. The image is called Skating along and can be found here --> LOTV <--.

I coloured her with my watercolourpencils and I used Stickles for the fur on het coat. I used the same stickles for the snow falling from the sky.
Here is a peek at the pointsettia, the heart is filled with pearl adhesive stones from Kars.

I have a lot of blogging to do so I'd better get started!

The ribbon was bought on a marketplace. The image is coloured with my watercolour pencils. The fur on the hat is Flower Soft and was bought on a hobby fair. The brads are from stash.

Happy Birthday to you!

This card is made for my mother who recently turned 81! The lady on the card actually IS my Mom.

She doesn't remember at what age the picture was taken, but my guess is she was in her twenties.

The DP is a paperbloc from Marianne Design called: Nostalgia. The big doily is Cheery Lynn Designs also used for inside the card. The small doily is Marianne Design again.

The flower was crocheted by me, it's not perfect I know but this is the first one with 2 colours I've ever made. The charm, lace, rhinestones and leaves are from my stash.

The sentiment on the little tag says: Because you are very special.

As promised I finally have the template of the couch for you. I don't know who made it originally, but I got this one at a card workshop.

In addition to this template you need a stand and the measures of that are: 5 by 7cm. Score the 7 cm at 1cm and glue this 1cm to the back of your couch.

If you have made one (or even more ), I would like you to tell me about it so I can come and see for myself what you've made.

A new home couch

This couch is quit easy to make although is looks complicated. It's made in one piece of cardstock. Embellishments, die cuts and (a computer made) sentiment. If you want this template I will post this on my blog, so you can copy it to your own computer :).

Today I want to show you a card I made for an 80 year old man.

As I struggle to make a male card (who doesn't!), I found myself making a vintage card

and it turned quite nice if I may say so :D.

Not too much frills, no lace, just paper (paperbloc Sweet Romance from Marianne Design)

The image is from Studio Light and search for Romantic Pictures.

The flower, leave and fern are dies by Marinanne Design,

the doily behind the image is Cheery Lynn Designs

the French Pastry doily. The small tag is a Spellbinders Nestability.

Almost forgot: the punch is a Martha Stewart.

An other wedding card

Hi everyone!

First of all I'd like to thank Bev for putting up my wedding cake and box on Ideas to inspire blog. Secondly thanks to all those who left a comment either on my blog or on Ideas to Inspire.

Now on to the card I want to show you today:

The shiny paper has been waiting for this card :-). The gold paper is an A4 sticker sheet.

The embossing die is by Marianne Design as are the fern, butterflies and flowers. The 20 mm rose came from Wild Orchid Crafts and the edges are stickled. The edge punch is a Martha Stewart punch.

Mr and Mrs, Weddingcake box

Hi sweet blogfriends!

Finally I can post this project on my blog! Our son and his bride are wed!!
When I saw this tutorial here I knew I had to make this for them. I made the lid a bit less high and it worked out perfectly don't you think? This post has a lot of photographs so I hope you can bare with me ;-).

The box:

I bought the ribbon at the marketplace.
The top has a stamp I won at Bev's some time ago and can be bought at LOTV,
the DP is from Rayer and came from Pipoos.
The doily is Cheery Lynn's Design called Kiwi Spirit.

The sentiments are from Hallmark and are cut with Wonky Squares.

Butterflies, flowers and weddings ....

Hi sweet blogfollowers!

I hope you all are alright. This week is a happy week, a lot of people are getting married.

Our son and his girlfriend, a niece and her loved one, a relative from a neighbour of my Mum's. She wanted to buy this card, so it's sold.

This card is made at a workshop and I have no clue what so ever about the DP;

it was a ready to make package.

All the things you needed are already in it. The big butterfly and the doily are dies from Marianne Design.

The small butterfly and the blue flowers are punched as wel as the branches.

The doily is stitched, the coloured flowers are 3D. It's a large card and can stand on his own because of the special cutting. Later this week I will show you the special project I made for my son and DIL to be. Also I will show the card I made for the other couple.

Japanese Pagoda, a very old card ....

Hi everyone!

Look what I found on our computer: I made this card 5 years (!) ago for my son when he turned 21.

(sorry for the poor photo, it was made with an old camera)

I can't remember where the DP came from but I still have the pattern of the card.

He then wanted to go to Japan, which he eventually did, twice. Once alone and once with his bride to be (soon!).

This year, due to the nuclear disaster, they are not going sadly enough.

I got this little fella a while back from Whiff of Joy when I ordered the larger ones. I think he is sooo cute, though sick lol.The papers are Marianne Design: Eline's Vintage, and the dies are also by her hand. The flowers are punched (brand unknown sorry), the branche is punched with a Martha Stewartpunch.

Hi all!!

I've been busy doing some work for the anual evening four-day walking event. It takes as it says 4 evenings but during daytime all the extra work has to be done. I am not complaining, this is something I do for a number of years now.

So on to my card:

The challange at LOTV is: Here comes Summer: This lazy guy is enjoying his deckchair and you can buy it here. The DP is a Pretty Paper Bloc from Marianne Design called: Old Fashioned Nursery. Happy Birthday and a challenge

Hi everyone! After Friday 13th and all the mess Blogger made, I wanted to wait and see if it worked again, well it seems to.

So for todays card I used Pretty Papers bloc Sweet Romance, by Marianne Design, the beautiful (white) doily from Cheery Lynn Designs, an other doily die (brown cardstock) and the heart are by Marianne Design and a gorgeous digital image from Funky Kits named Connie.

A closer look: I coloured her with Distress Ink and Twinkling H2O.

The eyes and lips are coloured with my watercolourpencils.

I made this flower myself, the leaves and fern are Marianne Design what else, lol.
I decorated the inside too. The sentiment says: Happy Birthday.

Hi to all my blog followers,

thanks you for the lovely comments you leave me, really love to read them :).

Now on the card I want to show you today: I saw this LO in a magazine and I loved it! I gave it my own twist et voilà here it is, lol. The gorgeous papers are Marianne Design (Eline's Flowerz) as well as the birdcage, branch and lace die.
The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch. The charm came from a shop that has stopped to exist, sadly enough. The sentiment on the small tag I got for free at a fair for some reason. The doily is from Cheery Lynn Designs and can be bought ->here<-, these doily dies are a pleasure to work with, every single piece of paper is coming out perfectly, weather you take some cardstock of just a piece of paper. I love them and you will see more of them shortly.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and are called Aster Daisy(Chrysant) and a few rosebuds.

Hello blog followers and all other bloggers who stumbled across my blog :-)

Today I want to show you a card with a Snoesje stamp.

The layout came from the book: Snoesjes van kaarten (cards with Snoesjes).

This card is purple not blueish! Apparently cameras can't register purple as I've seen this happen before on other blogs.

I coloured her with my watercolourpencils.

Challenge at KennyK

Todays card is made with a freebie from KennyK's downloads I got a while back. It can't be purchased so it's kind of a rare one! And I am lucky to have it :). She is called Anime Girl. I coloured her with my watercolourpencils.

I used Japanese papers Fold'ems origamipaper, gorgeous papers to work with. The paper has a soft touch and the package has several designs.

The leaves are a die from Marianne Design.

The butterfly is a punch by Martha Stewart, some rhinestones and a piece of ribbon

I have made myself invisible lately, sorry about that. Last week was a heavy one. I believe at some point I told you about one of my neighbours had been diagnosted with breastcancer. She past away last monday at the age of 49, way to young ....

Hi everyone!

It is faux leather wallet time again! I made this once before for a lady and

this time I made it for a man.

You couldn't have guessed lol! The sexy lady is a KennyK digi
called: Miss Fortune.The ribbon on both sides is actually made from the DP I used inside, so it fits nicely.

She is coloured with my watercolourpencils and

her hair is also covered with Twinkling H2O Egyptian gold.
The DP inside came from DCWV The Natural stack.

The butterflies are made with Photoshop.

I am putting this up for the challange at KennyK's Krafty Girlz, they want an R.

I covered this tag with a background stamp and ship from the same (old) set by Artemio.

A new born baby girl

Hi, you must have wondered where I was.... Well, I am still busy creating my own space in the house! A lot of work to be done. More than I imagined, I must say.

This babycard is made with love :). Also made with DP by Marianne Design, a Martha Stewart punch(butterfly) some ribbon and pearls.

The image is a bit of a problem; I know the artist (Annebodil) but I can't find her blog anywhere. Maybe you know her and would you be as kind to tell me? Thank you!

The inside is created with a die by Marianne Design (LR0130) and the DP is also by her. The sentiment is a rubbon which says: Congrats, a daughter.

Hi everyone!

I found todays card at Wilga blog: My paper passion.

It is a small booklet in the shape of a star, when open. Closed it triangle shaped.

Because there where no messures at the site I tried some measures and I found that the squares (there are 5 of them!) where most likely 12,5 cm, but you can make them bigger if you like.

I used a Pretty Paper Bloc by Marianne D. named Scandinavian Christmas.

The ribbon came from WOC

The above snowflake is made with a snowflake
by Marianne D. and a punch by Martha Stewart.

All stamps came from a set bought at

a lowbudget store (Kruitvat for the Dutch people :) ).

Hi everyone!

Todays card I made for a guy who looks just like this image lol! The image can be bought over here. It is an oldie but a goodie *smile*.

The ribbon came from Wild Orchid Crafts and I pulled it through a couple of eyelets. The 25, I found in my stash, came from a Starform sheet, for a glitter effect I first placed them on glitterpaper (don't know where that came from) and then cut them.

What you can't see on the picture, is that I got my clear glitterpen from Atyou Spica and did the lapel, the sides of his trousers and his shoes. The car is a die cut sheet and is a Ferrari.

Hi to all my blogfollowers and all other readers!

The project I want to share with you today is

a bookmark I made with DP by

Marianne Design -Full Colour-, such colourfull papers, lol.

The image is by Penny Johnson at Stampavie and was bought here. I coloured with two colours: white for the entire hare (or rabbit??) and medium flesh for the one ear(watercolourpencils) and the heart with Twinkling H2O.
A ribbon, charm and eyelet complete the bookmark.

Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is safe and sound. Me too :).
Todays card is made with Marianne design From the paper to the die, the pointsettia to the sentiment, which says: Happy Holidays. The only things not by MD are brad, pearlbeads. I took the pointsettia apart, than covered it with Twinklets and (waited very long for it to dry, I am not the patient type LOL) put it back together again with a brad. A nice and easy card.

I'm entering this card for the ABCChristmas challenge which is Yule tide!

Hi blog readers!

Sometimes I get my inspiration elswhere, I go to a hobbycourse in an other town. With several other people we get to make 3 cards during the day. This is one of them. I made it myself but got all supllies over there. I know the dies she used(Marianne Design) and the embossingfolder(Cuttlebug: Swiss dots) and the cute image(Marianne Design), but I don't know what die she used which lies underneath the image. The trees are have beads sewed onto them, gives it a nice Christmassy look, don't you think?

Sorry it took so long to post again! It has been rather busy around here. We've been to Greece for our holidays. It was fantastic!

This is a post with a lot of pictures, but it can't be helped, cause I want to show you the whole thing and not just a piece of it, lol!

I made a small booklet which I found here and I used a Pretty Paper Bloc by Marianne D. which is called Eline's Old Fasioned Christmas. The images are by Marianne D., it is a cutting sheet and is called Sweet Romance.

If you want to see this in real you have to go to De Creatieve Vlinder, I made this for in the shop.

She turned 80 this year!

What part of: Cats don't like water, didn't you understand?

Hi, after a long, very long time a post from me. As you know we have 2 cats, one of them is a real fat one 9,6kg! In the last 5 weeks or so, he wouldn't eat nor drink. So he lost al lot of weight, about 2,4kg. Even the vet (been there about 5 times!!!)didn't know what the reason of this weightloss was. A bloodtest was in place: his liver is not doing to well, not alarming but he had a little more attention from me more than usual, lol.

So on to todays card, hope you like it!

Hi all,

I'm gonna have my own craftroom, yeah!!!! Finally there is an extra room available, my son (25)
flew out of the frontdoor (rofl) and is now living with his girlfriend in their own home. I will let you know when it is finished and maybe with a pic.

May take a while though, there is lot to be done.

The card shown today is for one of my dear neighbours.

He not a fisherman, but I though the image was just funny.

A cheerful card this time. Cheerful because of the colours, red, white, blue and orange, the colours of our flag of The Netherlands. The card is made for someone who lives in Australia for a couple of years, she studies in Melbourne. I figured she needed some national cheering up!!

Hi, welcome to my blog!

Today's card I made for my mom. As a matter of fact: the girl in the picture IS my mom! She is about 8 years old just before the war of 1940. Isn't she lovely oldfashioned :)?

I digitised an old photo, cut it and placed it on scaps of paper. The outer circle is by Marianne Design, then a nestability with scallop. Some flowers, branches, lace, a butterfly and some beads, finishes it.

Faux Leather Wallet

Hi everyone,

I had to make a gift card for a very special lady. I came across Bev's and Whiff of Joy Challengeblog, saw a very inspiring photo of one made by Jane and finally found a tutorial at Splitcoasterstampers.

Here is my attempt on making one:

I used my Cuttlebugfolder: bubbles to create the outside (I used glimmer cardstock), the inside DP is by Eskimo kisses, the ribbon was bought at a marketplace, the buckles came from a lowbudgetstore in the Netherlands: Xenos.

For the first time, I sewed paper with my sewingmachine(amazing!) I set an eyelet and ran a piece of waxed cottonstring (Rayer) through. A brad is holding the string.

To complete the gift card I made a fitting card

with a sentiment by Marianne Design (in Dutch it says Congrats) and

a butterfly by Hobby & Caftingfun.

Today's card is a Christmas card, yep I made a start with them because, like everybody else, I hate the stress at the end of November.

I inked Henry with Stazon ink, coloured with watercolourpencils and waterbrush.

Hi there!
Finally a post! Things have been quit busy in my household. 2 extra cats, they are adorable if they are asleep, lol.
On to this card: It's my first attempt to an easel card. I think I will make more of these. I think I have grown an addiction to easel cards, :).
I've used the Pretty PaperBloc named Springtime by Marianne Design.
It looks as if I've used 2 different papers, but it is only one!

I made the little swirls myself.

Simon Says Girly

Today's card is for my daughter's birthday, 23 years of age. I asked her if she mind to get one in mainly pink. She didn't mind, but I know it is not her favorite colour. So when that was said, I could go to work.

The flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts, the big white tearose is stickled at the edges with babypink, so it looks a little pink. Under the closed rosebuds is a metal flower, to brighten them up a little bit, bought them at De Creatieve Vlinder as well as the heartcharm.

Hi everyone!
Today I want to share a card I made for a special little lady: Delia.
Two weeks ago I saw a call for a card at Dustin Pike's blog. If you would like to join in, you can read all about it on Dustin Pike's site.
Yesterday my card was finished and I've put it in the mailbox. I wonder how long it will be on its way ... ah well, we'll see.

Here is another birthday card.

This time I used a Penny Black stamp. I just love these stamps!

So this is what I came up with :) :

Here is a close up from the flowers I bought at Wild Orchid Crafts, I altered the colour, the big tearose was white! I took my Calligraphy pure pink pen (which I bought ages ago) and coloured it, it took me some time, also put on some Stickles on the edges, and here it is:

Wings of Hope

Hi everyone,

finally I managed to get a card done. I have been real busy doing other stuff.

The Wings of Hope stamp is created for a good cause:

if you buy this stamp, the money goes to the people if Haiti and I just learned that

it raised already over $ 1100,-!!

The stamp is temporary available at Whimsy Stamps.

I never used digi-stamps before and had to figure out how big or small I wanted it. After a couple of try-outs I found my way, lol.

I watercoloured the image and made some accents with a white gelpen (Sakura).

The wings are covered with Stickles glitterglue.

Challanges

Hi,
This time again a card inspired by Bev. I saw this a while ago on her blog and I thought maybe I 'll give it a go. And it fits two challanges: at PaperPlay Challanges: Precious Metals (the butterfly) and at Papertake Weekly : New Beginnings (adding my first charm ever).

I had some white flowers and wanted them a little red(cause I didn't have any red), took one of my few Copic's and coloured the edges a little red. I think they look good. I added a little stickles in the centre, as you can see here:

I also added a charm, my first ever! It took me a while to figure it out and I did, so in future I will use charms more often.

Birthday wishes

Hi there,

I hope you all started good this year! The wether is cold, can't remember it being so cold and snowy, bbrrr. I don't want to go out, but who is going to do the shopping? That'll be ME.

Today I want to share this giftbox with you, I made for my SIL. I found some green, shiny paper (A4), I got from a no longer existing store, there is no name on them (so sorry) and an empty transparent box. I used this as a template.

The stamps are Magnolia and WOJ (sentiment) some flowers and Martha Stewart (frond) .
Coloured with watercolourpencils. Cut with Cuttlebug and square Nestabilities.

I hope you all had a wonderful beginning of the new year. As it was kind of late (04.00am), we slept in till 0.30 in the afternoon!

I'd like to share this card with you.

The stamp is by Marianne Design and the sentiment is Penny Black. Sorry, I couldn't see anymore where the DP came from (all choped to pieces, lol), used my Cuttlebugfolder snowflakes and Nestabilities, stickels crystal. I used my watercolourpencils to colour the image, and last but not least ribbon.

She has two adorable cats and one of them is a red tomcat. I tried to catch the colours of the cat but did a poor job.

Last Christmas card/cat

Hi,

Finaly an other post. I've been blogging and hopping around, peww that takes a lot of time. I didn't post to everyone, but I saw a lot of creations.

Here is a creation by me, most likely the last of the Christmas cards this year:

The paper is Basic Grey: Eskimo Kisses, the stamps are by Penny Black, some ribbon, the spica clear pen by AtYou.

A closer look at the cat:

This time I used odourless white spirit, instead of my waterbrush. I think it looks better, don't you? The blending is better controlable this way. A whole new kind of colouring for me, never too old to learn new things, lol.

Here is a close-up at the snowflake:

To create this flake I used punches by: Martha Stewart, EK succes, a smaller snowflake punch with no name(sorry) and a Cuttlebug flake, put them all together, some crystal Stickles on, and voila.

Hi ladies (and gents),

I hope you had a wonderful week! I know I did. I got to buy Christmaspresents, love spending money, don't you?

I cut the image from a 3D imagesheet, used my Nestabilities, embossingfolder and some ink.

A close up. I hope you can see the gold ink I used for the edges of the card as well as the snowflake:
The DP is My little yellow bicycle (I think it's very old),

the ribbon came out of my stock, the sentiment is from a set by Studio G, the snowflake is made by using a Martha Stewart punch and a die that came with the Cuttlebug. I added some very tiny shinestones. The image is a Vintage Christmas cuttingsheet by Marianne Design.

Despite this card is not a stamped one, I still hope you like it.

Boys and toys

Hi everyone,

Here is a baby boy card and, as you can see, it is going to be a boy! Nowadays, parents know in advance what the gender of their unborn baby is (if they want to know) , before it is born.

No surprices anymore!

In my time there was no such thing, than again I didn't want to know.

Back to the card:

I made my own background! Loved that little car.

Here a peek on the inside:

I used my Nestabilities to cut out a stamp from Eline's Toddlers (Marianne Design) and it comes with the two little stamps, the car and the building blocks, watercolourpencils to colour it. Darkblue ribbon and a brad in each corner. The inside is stamped also with a Marianne design stamp and the little car was used for the background.

Hello,

Hope you have a wonderful day, today.Yesterday I learned that a friend of mine delivered a newborn into this world.

So I had to make a babycard for a girl.

Just love doing that, all that pink, yammie!

I saw this at Sketch Saturday and this is what I came up with.

I used a pretty stamp of Marianne Design: Eline's Toddler and the sentiments inside the card are also made by Marianne Design, the DP came from a lowbudget store (Wibra, in the Netherlands), I used my Nestabilities label 4, can you tell I just love this label? LOL. I used my watercolourpencils for some colour.

Penny Black cat!

Hi everyone,

This time I want to show you this cute stamp of Penny Black. I had already seen it on the net, but didn't have the chance to buy it. As I was in Utrecht I saw it again and I thought now it is mine *smile*.

I made my own background with a stamp from a set: Ready to Stamp. It's just one pawprint, I inkted it up with purple from my colourbox. Loved doing that, create your own background I mean.

I did the inside too, but forgot to make a picture, the card has already been sent to another lady who had her birthday.

It's been a while since I posted. I have had a lot to do. Also I've been to a creative convention (KreaDoe) in Utrecht, The Netherlands, twice!! I bought a lot of stamps and so helped the economy on its way LOL.

Hi everyone,

The other day I was surfing on the net and I saw this incredible beautiful card at Bev's and I thought: This one doesn't seem too hard to make.

So, this is what I came up with:

Here is a close up:

The fur is "coloured" with a Spica clear pen, the snowflakepunches are covered with Stickles and pierced with a brad.
It took me longer than I thought it would, but now that it's finished, it is worth it!

I want to thank Bev for her inspiration.

Pink Magnolia

Hi, here is another post from me. It's been a while since I posted, sorry for that.
This time I wanted to show you a card with an old Magnolia stamp. I made the card a while ago, just for fun. The other day my next door neighbour came to me and asked if I had a nice card for her. Her mother was taken ill into hospital and she wanted a card with flowers. She came across this one and so I had to finish it on the inside.

Here is a peek inside:

The image is from Magnolia series Pink 2008. I coloured her with aquarell pencils by Rembrandt as usual. I can't remember the name of the DP, but they are old, very old. I have a lot of very old DP, I need to make me some cards with them lol. The flowers and ribbon are from stash. The peel off says: Get well (in Dutch of course)

My appologies for not posting so long, with good reason though. We were on holiday in Greece. A couple of days after we got back, I got the flu (not the Mexican but the regular *lol*). I still don't feel to good.

Old Magnolia and Pink Ribbon

Hi there,

Sorry but I am not a regular poster. I just can't make a card every day. For that I need my own craftroom ;)!
This card was made for one of my neighbours, she has breastcancer. In 2003 they dicovered it and she still is going strong! She has had some operations and chemotherapy. Anyway this card was made for her. The pink bracelet can be taken of the card and you can tie it with some knots to your wrist and make a wish. If the bracelet falls of by wearing it, so the story tells us, your wish comes true. I hope, by that time, she's still with us!!!
